Kaizen Auto Rentals

A CLEAR HANDOFF. A HUMAN PAYMENT.

Let your assistant plan.
You review and pay.

An AI assistant can check your dates and quote, then prepare a temporary booking after you authorize the details. It gives you a private Kaizen link to review the rental and open secure card checkout yourself.

What the customer controls

  1. Tell your assistant the rental dates, vehicle class, pickup and return locations, and JMD or USD payment preference.
  2. Review the exact rental total, location charges, separate security deposit, payment choice and current booking policy.
  3. Authorize the assistant to prepare that booking using the necessary driver details. Your assistant must not invent personal details or accept policy terms without your authorization.
  4. Open the private booking link before its hold expires, review the details and pay yourself. Never send card information through an assistant.

A class is reserved, not a guaranteed model. Driver eligibility and original document checks remain required before handover. Chauffeur requests require separate arrangements and billing.

For assistant developers

Use the OpenAPI specification and current booking options and policy. The API is credential-free and rate-limited; do not send account cookies or authorization headers. Browser calls are permitted from Kaizen public origins. Server agents can call without an Origin header. Some assistants require an integration or connector; this documentation does not automatically install Kaizen into every AI platform.

StepOperationEffect
1. OptionsGET /api/public/agent-bookingCurrent classes, locations, currencies, eligibility and policy.
2. QuotePOST action: quoteDate-specific availability and itemized quote. No hold or charge.
3. PreparePOST action: prepareCustomer-authorized temporary reservation; returns private handoffUrl and holdExpiresAt. No payment charged.
4. StatusPOST action: statusLimited booking/payment status using the secret booking token.

Example: obtain a quote

 "end": "2027-01-13T10:00",
 "vehicleClass": "Basic",
 "pickup": "Burlington Office",
 "dropoff": "Burlington Office",
 "currency": "USD",
 "payInFull": false
}

Example dates and class are illustrative. Read current options and use the customer’s actual future dates. All local times are Jamaica time. Amounts ending in Cents are integer minor units in the stated currency; 100 cents equals one currency unit. Quotes are informational, expire after five minutes and do not hold inventory.

Prepare once, retry safely

Send the same trip plus name, email, phone, birthDate, original licenceIssued date and licenceExpiry date. Include quotedTotalCents from the accepted quote and quotedJmdPerUsd for USD. Send customerAuthorized: true, consent: true and policyVersion: 1 only after the customer approves. Generate token as 32 cryptographically random bytes encoded as 64 lowercase hexadecimal characters; retain that token privately and reuse it for retries.

Preparation revalidates price, driver eligibility and available inventory using Kaizen’s reservation system. A successful response returns the reference, hold expiry, amounts and handoffUrl. A repeated identical token/request returns the same booking; changed details require resolving the existing reservation, not blindly retrying with new tokens. Discount-code bookings currently use the website.

Do not fetch or expose the payment provider link for the customer. Hand over the private Kaizen link. Treat both the token and link as secrets; never put them in public logs, search indexes or analytics. No card numbers, identity scans, customer lists, vehicle plates or staff records belong in agent requests.

Verify the result

Call status with the token after the customer pays. Only paymentVerified: true confirms server-verified payment. A return from the payment page, an approved hold or an agent message is not proof of payment. If canPay is false, quoteChanged is true or the hold has expired, do not instruct the customer to pay again. Contact Kaizen for help when uncertain.

Errors: 400 invalid details or missing customer authorization; 403 unapproved browser origin; 409 changed or unavailable booking; 413 oversized request; 415 unsupported content type; 429 rate limit; 503 booking unavailable. Keep retries bounded. This API cannot cancel rentals, charge cards or access staff records.

Using your preferred assistant

Kaizen publishes ordinary readable web pages and a shared booking contract. Search crawlers discover information; they do not reserve a vehicle. A browser agent can use the labelled booking form. An API agent needs its developer to connect the operations below. Listing a service here is not a certification, partnership or proof that its consumer app has installed Kaizen.

AssistantSupported integration pathCustomer handoff
ChatGPT / OpenAIBrowser form; WebMCP where exposed by the browser; OpenAPI operations for a configured action or function tool. The prepare operation is marked consequential.Customer approves the quote and policy, then opens the private Kaizen link to pay.
Claude / AnthropicBrowser form or developer-defined tools with JSON object input schemas. Options, quote, prepare and status are separate operations. No Kaizen staff connector is required.Ask permission before creating the hold. Never collect card details.
Gemini / GoogleReadable indexed pages and structured business data for discovery; browser form, supported WebMCP context or developer-wired function calling for actions.Return the exact currency, amounts and private handoff link. Google search visibility does not itself enable bookings.
Grok / xAIReadable pages for documented web search; developer-wired function calls to the plain-object booking operations. Web search alone cannot submit a reservation.Prepare only after authorization; payment stays with the customer.
Meta Muse / Meta AIReadable pages and labelled browser controls for browser tasks. An authorized custom API connector can use the same operations.Keep the service’s own approvals intact. Return the private customer review link.
Perplexity and other assistantsPublic crawlable pages for discovery; browser automation or a configured HTTP tool for actions.No automatic booking capability is implied by appearing in an answer.

Separate tool operations

For clients that do not import a oneOf request schema, use these POST endpoints on https://www.kaizenboss.com: /api/public/agent-booking/quote, /api/public/agent-booking/prepare and /api/public/agent-booking/status. Send the corresponding object documented above without an action field. The original action-based endpoint remains supported. Both routes share the same validation, rate limits, availability checks and idempotency.

Define the function using its operationId, description and requestBody JSON schema from the OpenAPI specification, and execute the matching HTTPS operation in your application. Schema publication does not automatically execute a function. Do not point public customers at KFOS staff MCP tools or send staff credentials.

Freshly read options for each booking, quote the actual future dates, and present the exact currency and quote to the customer. Stop on errors or expired holds. No agent operation takes card details or charges a payment.

Browser assistants

The ordinary booking form has labelled fields and works without a special integration. Where the browser supports WebMCP, the booking page progressively exposes get_kaizen_booking_options, quote_kaizen_rental, prepare_kaizen_booking and check_kaizen_booking_status tools. Unsupported browsers continue to use the normal form. Customer authorization requirements apply equally to tool calls.
